Summary

Description

A merged view of the space between platforms 7 and 8 at Liverpool Lime Street railway station is sufficiently wide that it gives the impression of having previously been at least two more platforms and possibly one or more non-platform tracks as well.

Two Virgin West Coast Class 390 EMUs are visible in this photograph, both between express services from and to London Euston. 390048 is on the left at platform 7 and will be the next to depart; 390051 is on the right at platform 8.
Date Photographs taken 9 April 2006, merged image created 10 April 2006
